Il manquait clairement un hôtel de cette catégorie et niveau de prestations à Marvão. C’est désormais chose faite! Nous avons passé un excellent moment dans cet hôtel-musée (qui raconte l’histoire de Marvão ), plein de charme. Personnel attentif et sympathique. Le restaurant n’était pas encore ouvert, ce sera pour nohs l’occasion de revenir! Vues extraordinaires de la terrasse. Je recommande fortement. ~ Lecler C

Despite the cold and rainy days, we had a most restful stay at Marvão Hotel Museu. After seeing the highlights of the village and the surrounding areas, and tasting the local cuisine, we looked forward to the comfort the room and panoramic lounge provided. Even if it was a hotel, it emitted a warm and inviting ambience manifested by the staff service, and simple but very elegant furnishings that rendered it homey, a place you want to come back to and hang out in. We also had an opportunity to meet Jorge Rosado, the owner, a very successful hotelier but humble person from Marvão. This is local hospitality at its finest - it will certainly bring us back again!! ~ Rian D

Foi um prazer descobrir em primeira mão Marvão Hotel Museu. O staff demonstrou uma gentileza incrível. O Hotel em si tem espaços de relaxamento em várias zonas, mas o meu destaque vai para o salão principal com uma vista extraordinária sobre a natureza que circunda Marvão, decorado com algumas peças que despertam a atenção. O quarto era muito confortável, com uma decoração aconchegante. Fiquei sem sombra de dúvida com vontade de voltar. Um belíssimo espaço. ~ Katty M

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, everything about our stay was absolutely perfect. This is without a doubt one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The hotel is beautifully designed, elegant, chic, and full of character. Every space feels thoughtfully curated, and the rooms are exceptional: incredibly spacious, spotless, and finished with impeccable attention to detail. The entire property has a warm, luxurious atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is the staff. They are genuinely the kindest, most welcoming, and attentive team we have ever encountered. Every interaction was met with sincere hospitality and a smile, making our stay even more memorable. If you’re visiting Marvão, do yourself a favor and stay here. We honestly couldn’t find a single thing to improve. It exceeded every expectation, and we can’t wait to return. ~ Nathalie M

Qué lugar tan especial. Se nota que hay mucho cariño por detrás en la decoración, el servicio, y en general el ambiente es muy agradable. El restaurante es un 10, merece mucho la pena la degustación. The service was exceptional. We were treated like royalty. Despite the initial confusion when we booked a wheelchair accessible accommodation (we were booked in a place nearby which was not suitable), they went above and beyond to accommodate us in the most professional + polite way. The room was amazing, the shower especially its such a pleasure to have such luxury + the bed was so comfy, the pillows were plump, soft + the towels were also very soft. Jorge made us feel very welcome + showed us his museum with pride. As a Marvao local, he beamed with joy when greeting us every time we saw him. I was especially impressed with the efforts made to make everything so accessible by wheelchair, all the ramps + lifts in such a rural area made a huge difference to our experience. Thank you Jorge + all the other friendly staff, Joao + Jose. The breakfast was great, I can’t give this place a higher praise. 10/10. ~ Fred S

Quando fizemos a reserva tinha uma expectativa alta em relação ao Hotel Museu mas esta foi amplamente superada. Desde o atendimento cuidado, ao glamour e elegância do hotel até ao pequeno almoço só com produtos regionais. O conforto do quarto associado ao requinte e bom gosto da decoração deixaram-nos sem vontade de sair. Todo o Hotel tem recantos preservados e acolhedores. Vim no pico do verão mas hei-de voltar no inverno para usufruir da lareira magnífica da sala panorâmica. Muitos parabéns. ~ Susana G

It's such a nice hotel. Designed with the purpose. It has only opened in April 2026 and the rooms are impressive. Preserving the history and local traditions. Delicious breakfast, high quality products. Hospitality of both receptionist went beyond our expectations. Did you know that you can use the jacuzzi the terrace?
